Unintended Consequences of no Keystone Pipeline

From Michael Graham at the Boston Herald, an article about what I like to call a knee jerk reaction about the Canadian Oil pipeline.  A professor running for Senate in Massachusetts is against the pipeline for environmental reasons (I am assuming).  However, as with most opponents of this pipeline they neglect to consider alternatives to building the pipeline or the unintended consequences of not building it.  Mr. Graham gives a couple of good either/or examples.
