Continuing Failed Policies

Although there were many reasons for the housing crisis, one of the main drivers was the housing regulations.  That is those regulations that require banks to have a certain percentage of subprime loans.  Knowing that this was the case you would think the government would dial back the enforcement or these requirements.  This does not appear to be the case.  According to this piece, enforcement and requirements continue as previously.
