10,000 hours to become an expert

Here is a short post from David Kanigan at Lead.Learn.Live. talking about what it takes to become an expert at anything.  This is another post found by way of Cultural Offering.  I first encountered this idea through Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers.  The idea is that it takes 10,000 hours of practice/experience to become an expert at something.  Very interesting idea that has been proven through research and experimentation.
